Amazing Ibiza Villages


Ibiza may be one of the smaller Balearic Islands but it packs a punch on the myriad of beautiful white beaches and quaint villages with whitewashed houses. There are many historical monuments which Ibiza offers at its various villages where each is a distinct and unique entity.

Quaint villages

The Ibiza villages are interesting and delightful Mediterranean villages with San Antonio Abad as a typical example. Sant Antoni de Portnani proves to be an important tourist center that draws in throngs of crowd to its beaches especially during the summer. Cala Gració and Cala Blanch are two of many lovely beaches with soft white sand on Ibiza that offers a vibrant night life.

San José village boasts of the most exquisite church on Ibiza; tourists are drawn to this village to view the church and beaches. With so many beaches around the quaint villages of Ibiza, there is no lack of choice for tranquility and solace. It is possible to have the beach all to one’s self at the right time at the right beach. Ses Fontelles cave is one of the interesting spots to explore in Ibiza with many pre-historical wall paintings.

Vila d'Eivissa town is up on a hill near the sea with impressive fortifications all around. There is a pleasant ambience with colorful shops along its narrow streets. There are many souvenirs and latest fashion pieces to purchase.

Sightseeing

The ancient town quarter which is close to the town walls is Ibiza’s pulsating center of life. Another Ibiza center of interest is D’alt Vila which showcases interesting historical monuments.

The 10th century Cathedral at D’alt Vila has a Gothic tower, an 18th century Baroque nave and many Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance artworks.

The Puig de Molins museum is one of Europe’s best on Punic art; it also houses the Punic necropolis which is open to the public. History buffs would love the town’s archaeological museum which showcases pre-historical relics up to 16th century offerings.

Nightlife

Ibiza is one place where tourists are able to discover vibrant nightlife to its max without directions required. Anyone in Ibiza would be drawn to the nightlife on this island easily with the myriad of pubs and bars with loud music and life oozing out to the streets, ports and beaches, Villas in Benijofar.

Some smaller villages may not offer much nightlife as other towns due to their simple lifestyle but there is no lack of vibrancy all around Ibiza which is not hard to find and flow into.
